QA EXECUTIVE (MK)

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance Process Development

  • Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Develop, review, and update quality standards, guidelines, and related documentation.
  • Ensure quality systems comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

2. Audit & Inspection

  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
  • Support external audits and ensure audit readiness.

3. Quality Control

  • Monitor and evaluate product and service quality throughout the production process.
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality assurance activities, inspections, findings, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, analysis, and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is properly controlled and maintained.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve quality processes, operational efficiency, and product consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of improvement actions and recommend further enhancements where necessary.

6. Training & Quality Awareness

  • Conduct training on quality assurance processes, food safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.

7. Customer Feedback & Quality Improvement

  • Collect, monitor, and analyze customer feedback related to product and service quality.
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement improvement measures to enhance customer satisfaction.

8. Laboratory Management

  • Monitor and oversee daily laboratory activities.
  • Manage laboratory inventory and place orders for laboratory supplies based on stock requirements.
  • Prepare and provide product testing reports based on microbiological analysis.

9. Other Responsibilities

  • Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by the immediate superior in line with departmental objectives and company KPIs.

Job Requirements

Must Have

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related food science discipline.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the food manufacturing or food processing industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Good reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrates initiative in identifying and preventing food safety issues.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Good to Have

  • Hands-on experience with laboratory testing or laboratory operations.
  • Knowledge of Halal requirements and certification standards.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or other food safety management systems is an added advantage.
