Key Responsibilities
1. Category Ownership & Performance

Own full category P&L (sales,
margin, growth)
·
Define and execute category strategy and
targets
·
Monitor performance and drive corrective actions
2. Commercial Strategy & Growth
·
Identify growth opportunities
across assortment, pricing, and promotions
·
Develop and execute category
plans aligned to shopper missions
·
Drive category role clarity (traffic,
margin, basket, differentiation)
3. Supplier & Partnership Management
·
Lead negotiations on cost, rebates, and
trade funding
·
Build strong supplier partnerships and
joint business plans
·
Secure funding for promotions, campaigns,
and activations
4. Assortment & Portfolio Management
·
Define SKU strategy (what to grow,
rationalise, or exit)
·
Lead new product introduction
(NPD) direction
·
Ensure a focused, shopper-relevant
assortment
5. Promotion & Execution
·
Plan and drive promotion calendar in
collaboration with Category Operations
·
Ensure strong execution of campaigns and
in-store initiatives
·
Track and optimise promo effectiveness and
ROI
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:

Category Operations (pricing, data,
execution)
·
Category Experience & Space (zoning,
placement, store model)
·
Marketing & Operations teams
·
CRM/Loyalty and E-Commerce teams
