MERCHANDISING MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of merchandising and product assortment strategies to maximize sales and margin performance.
  • Identify and source new product opportunities, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer demand.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including price negotiation, trading terms, and promotional support to optimize profitability.
  • Oversee category performance, including sales, margin, stock levels, and sell-through rates.
  • Drive range reviews and assortment planning using data analysis to continuously improve product mix.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional and campaign strategies.
  • Ensure effective supply chain coordination, maintaining optimal stock availability and minimizing overstock or stockouts.
  • Build strong relationships with retail outlets through regular engagement and on-ground visits to ensure execution excellence.


Job Requirement

  • Proven experience inmerchandising, buying, or category managementwithin retail or FMCG environment.
  • Strongcommercial acumen, with hands-on experience in margin management and trading terms.
  • Demonstrated ability insupplier negotiation and relationship management.
  • Solid understanding ofP&L and inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data intoactionable merchandising decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
