ASSISTANT MANAGER, REAL ESTATE

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead tenancy renewals and rental negotiations, including strategy, commercial positioning, and securing approvals, while driving rental optimisation and cost control initiatives.
2. Act as key liaison with landlords to manage relationships, resolve issues, and negotiate tenancy matters effectively.
3. Oversee tenancy documentation to ensure timely execution, accuracy, and full compliance with legal and internal requirements, including proper document governance and traceability.
4. Manage portfolio reporting and performance tracking, including KPIs on renewals, occupancy cost, and outlet performance, while providing insights to support management decision-making.
5. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of system updates, reports, and tenancy records.
6. Coordinate with internal stakeholders on renewals, revamps, relocations, and expansion initiatives to ensure alignment and execution.
7. Support process improvements and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency within the department.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, landlords, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and issue resolution.
9. Support Senior Manager in departmental planning, reporting, and presentations, and undertake ad-hoc assignments or special projects as required.

Job Requirements

Must to have:

1. Bachelor’s Degree / Postgraduate Diploma / Professional Qualification or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in Real Estate, leasing, or tenancy management.
3. Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
4. Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu (written and spoken).
5. Ability to work independently, manage a team, and handle multiple priorities.
