Role

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, compliance & timely submission of statutory requirements
  • Preparation and follow up with the Board Papers for Board and Committee Meeting
  • Preparation of circular resolutions, minutes of Board, Committee & General Meetings.
  • Keep abreast of latest updates of Companies Act and Main Board Listing Requirement the rules and regulation of SSM etc.
  • Advising stakeholders (Directors, Head of Department, inter-Department peers, etc) on corporate secretarial matters and corporate governance in decision making processes and executing appropriately as directed.
  • Annual Report and AGM
  • Arrange for the Directors’ training
  • To remind the Finance Department on the RRPT issues
  • To monitor the public shareholdings spread
  • Liaison for Investment Relation (IR) meetings

Job Requirements

  • A degree in Law, Accounting, Business, or equivalent professional qualification (MAICSA/ICSA).
  • At least 5 years of corporate secretarial experience, preferably with listed companies.
  • Strong knowledge of Companies Act 2016, Bursa Listing Requirements, and governance code
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with directors, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and deadline-driven skills.
  • A collaborative, professional approach with the confidence to handle senior-level interactions.
