PLANNER EXECUTIVE/SENIOR EXECUTIVE

1.Production Scheduling:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet demand forecasts and customer orders.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure schedules are feasible and adjust as necessary for changes in demand or production capacity.

2.Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of materials to prevent production delays.

3.Resource Allocation:
  • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively to maximize production efficiency.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks or constraints in the production process.

4.Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, and waste.

5.Process Improvement:
  • Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards.

6.Cross-functional Coordination:
  • Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Logistics, to ensure seamless operations and communication.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with business objectives.

7.Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production team.

8.Team Leadership:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to juniorplanners and production staff.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in production management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the food or bakery manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • The role is primarily based in the factory, with some office-based work.
  • May require occasional weekend or evening work to meet production deadlines.
  • Exposure to typical bakery manufacturing environments, including temperature variations and noise
