Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely and timely drive CEO to work and back, meeting appointment and to occasions
  • Safely drive the CEO’s relatives, visitors, business partners and associates to and from places authorized by the CEO
  • Ensure that the car is clean at all times by washing both its inside and outside parts – keep logbook as track record
  • Carry out routine inspection on the car to ensure that it is always in good condition – keep logbook as track record
  • Identify electrical and mechanical problems that may hinder smooth working of the car and carry out minor repairs and maintenance where necessary – get approval from CEO for major repair or high repair cost involved.
  • Plan the routes - consider different routes, check climate and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take
  • Safely keep receipts for vehicle repairs and maintenance and other records and reports concerning the employer’s car(s) and submit to Finance for payment purpose.
  • Keep a travel log to record locations travelled to, travel time, and work hours – get CEO to sign off by end of day.
  • Confidentiality of any conversation in the car – to be kept confidential and cannot disclose to anyone otherwise will lead to termination without notice.
  • Carry out other assignments that may be given by the CEO from time to time

Job Requirements

  • Must be an expert driver and properly licensed to drive and punctual at all time
  • Professionalism: Defensive driving, work proficiency, appear smart at all times, wear mask all the time in the car and maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Watchful and Safety conscious: Should drive with consideration at all times. He ought to likewise consider the wellbeing of other road users.
  • Good conversational skills.
