Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
- Monitoring and controlling safety and compliance in the organization as per the Safety and Health Act 1994 and organization's safety policy.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of the workplace to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
- Advising the management on safety issue as well as developing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Carrying out safety inspection an internal audits and reporting to management with suggestions and measures for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- To lead safety committees and meetings to discuss safety concerns and initiatives.
- Ensure all staff complies with those regulations include compliance to Environmental regulations.
- Provide and initiate SHE trainings to ensure all employees are fully aware and adequately trained according to legislation requirements.
- Submit annually the necessary documents to DOSH as required by the Act.
- Implement 5 ‘S’ to ensure safety surrounding areas.
- Coordinate and liase with relevent authorities (JKKP, BOMBA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga)
- Liaise with Bomba on fire preventive, evacuation and conduct fire drill training.
- Liaise with vendor to do monthy checking for Fire System.
- Responsbile to attend call to verifiy with SPKA (Sistem Pengawasan Kebakaran Automatik).
- Assist all visiting government officer and consult related to safety, health and environment.
- Perform any other relevant/adhoc tasks as assigned by superior/Management.
