Role
•Monitor the receipt, dispatching and storage of material in storage under raw material and packaging material, picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, hygiene and administrative functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy:
•A warehouse executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse
Operational:
•To fulfil internal and external customer satisfaction and to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) set by the superiors.
•To direct and coordinate the activities of the total warehouse by ensure all material ordering planning and stock availability within turn over days set by company.
•Practice 5S all the time on the shop floor
• Regularly providing warehouse status updates to management and facilitating the timely delivery of products to production.
• Closely monitor the material movement as build of material (BOM) in the system
•Control plan and material to ensure the optimum utilization of available storage, resources and labour force to attain warehouse objective/targets
•Continuously to improve methods, effectiveness and resource utilization and critically review and monitor material availability sufficient for daily, weekly, and monthly buffer stock
•Managing the inventory control system to ensure accuracy and availability of products.
•Maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse and its employees.
•Supervising and training warehouse staff.
•Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
•Evaluating and improving the efficiency and productivity of warehouse processes and procedures.
•Any other related jobs/tasks as deemed suitable from the management related to the department/factory KPI achievements.
People:
•Passionately liaise with procurement and production to ensure buffer stock and delay of material delivery can be solve from time to time without effect production attainment.
•Passionately liaise with subordinate in term of training required and base on management vision and mission.
