Role


Duties & Responsibilities
To establish and further develop the warehousing and distribution infrastructure
To lead and grow the distribution logistics team.
To promote a customer-focused corporate culture to achieve excellent customer service
To constantly improve the efficiency of operations and delivery processes
To ensure the implementation and maintenance of the company’s standard operating procedures.
To ensure the implementation and maintenance of the standard warehouse management system
To guide the team or self-involvement to resolve operational issues, immediately and independently.
To regularly review and ensure operation KPI meet the requirement of the Service level agreement
To ensure all operations activities are invoiced accurately on a timely basis to the customer.
To ensure safety and security compliance at the workplace.
To ensure continuous improvement (Kaizen) and productivity improvement (Lean Management) being carried out across the operation site.
To observe and implement high standards of operational health and safety in the workplace
To carry out 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) practices
To perform any other assignments as and when directed by superior/s and comply with the company's rules and regulations.

Job Requirements
Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree or related discipline. Competency in Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma or Technical Degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum 8-10 years working experience in similar functions in highly pressurized and customer driven operations. Candidates with diverse work experience in operations and supply chain management will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years in managing people and team with size of 60-80 employees.
Someone who has strong values on safety and integrity, be highly empathic but at the same time able to demonstrate result orientation with good service mindset value. Must be able to work well with people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
The candidates should have good business acumen with good financial understanding as this position will require multiple decision makings which will use both competencies. The candidates must be capable of demonstrating situational leadership and make decisions with minimal data and supervision when required.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision with strong English and Malay language communication skills (both written and verbal) as this job will require he/she to communicate with multiple stakeholders world wide.
