Role


Duties & Responsibilities
• To ensure all Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) issues of the company is in compliance with local regulations such as Dept of Safety & Health (DOSH), Dept of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Health Department, Fire Service Department, Suruhan Tenaga.
• Assist Maintenance Executive to responsible and ensure for all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) issues of the company is in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist maintain and implementing Safety, Health & Environment procedures / policies and management systems.
• Coordinate and liaise with relevant authorities (JKKP, BOMBA, Suruhan Tenaga).
• JKKP, ST, Genset, Calibration Certificate renewal.
• Assist in plan, manage and support improvement programs, identify and evaluate existing workplace hazards.
• Assist in conduct Safety, Health & Environmental monitoring.
• Assist Maintenance Executive/Manager to conducts safety and health inspection, internal audit and external audit as assigned.
• Assist Maintenance Executive/Manager to ensure standardization of SHE practices at all plants.
• Assist to plan and help in preparation and conduct training related to safety, health & environment to all staffs.
• Adheres to the Company’s safety, health and environmental regulation.
• Adheres to all Company’s rules and regulations.
• To maintain workstation and surrounding areas in neat and tidy condition.
• Involved in all activities related to the performance of the unit such as 5’S’, TPM, Kaizen, ICC and/or any activities prescribe by his / her superior.
• Upkeep and maintain plant machineries to ensure they are in good running condition
• To carry out corrective maintenance/rectification & maintenance work of production
equipment & plant machinery.
• To ensure the repairing work are to follow requirement and standard.
• To ensure efficiency and effectiveness of equipment’s and facilities maintenance.
• Ensure all machinery, building, facilities & compound are maintained in good condition
for production requirements.
• To assist maintenance team when require/necessary.
• Work closely with Production, Commercial, Planning, Warehousing and Quality
assurance department to achieve high productivity, cost efficiency and Safety System.

Job Requirements
• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment / Safety Management or equivalent/ Competent in OSH coordinator/facilities maintenance.
• At least 1 year experience in related field preferably in manufacturing industries is required for this position.
• Familiar with OSHA Act, FMA
• Must self-oriented and independent with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate, ability to work independently with high degree of commitment to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
• Flexible, adaptable, a self-starter, able to interact with all levels of people and a strong team player.
• Can work under pressure.
