Job Description:

  • Lead the supply chain organization within Malaysia in retail supply chain, logistics, and intercompany services.
  • Develop and coach supply chain professionals; drive organizational and individual development, engagement, and collaboration.
  • Accountable for execution of SOP to drive alignment between key stakeholders around product supply, demand, and logistics cost.
  • Track and report status of defined KPIs, Metrics against target, and directional performance data. If additional metrics are required to support, develop when needed.
  • Strategically manage chill distribution centre (CDC) and Dry Distribution Centre (DDC) in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
  • Ensure logistics operations runs effectively which includes warehousing, transportation, shipping, customs clearance, and compliance with trade regulations. To oversee logistics related contracts.
  • Drive continuous improvement of supply performance. Simplify process and process automation.
  • Build and maintain effective cross functional relationships with business leaders, manufacturing, quality, finance, operations, merchandising team, regulatory, and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Prepare annual budget and workforce requirements. Overseeing P&L for logistics and supply chain. To ensure that cost effectiveness and high productivity and efficiency.
  • Drive effective customer services though achieving KPI set. With timely communication to key stakeholders and via the forum, cross-functional workshop. Leading the setting up of S&OP (Sales and Operation) meetings to ensure that key stakeholders are kept informed on the forward business strategy.
  • Perform duties and task assigned by management.

  • Independent, self-starter. Able to function with minimal supervision.
  • Must have ERP knowledge, inventory management.
